On February 2nd, World Wetlands Day was held for the first time in the Southern Beaches, at the Dodges Ferry school hall. Approximately 250 people attended the free family-friendly event, with many declaring it ‘a magical day’. While the sunny weather certainly played a part, the program offered a smorgasbord of science, art, and activities, with information stalls, live music and guided tours.
