HUNDREDS of kids and their families enjoyed the fun, food and fanfare of the Sorell School Community Country Fair on Friday, November 1.
A total fire ban in the South of the State may have meant the fireworks display had to be cancelled, but the unseasonably warm weather did not deter the fun.
Sponsored by APM Employment Services, the Fair brings the school and the community together, showcasing the talents of students and is a major fundraiser for the Sorell School Association.
Crowd favourites the Gee Whizzer, Lethal Weapon and Dodgem Cars were popular with the kids – young and old.
Show bags, carnival games, food vans, an animal nursery, stalls, singing and dancing, hay rides offered by the Hobart Vintage Machinery Museum and the Sorell Rotary BBQ were all on offer.
