Chronicle Launched

The Tasman Peninsula Historical society has just published their 16th chronicle: a collection of many stories of local history written by various local authors. This chronicle launch was opened by Dorothy Hallam whose husband, historian and story teller Maurice was ‘a well-loved bloke who told a story with impish glee’. Maurice was a keen researcher and founding member of the history group. He was responsible for many stories in the series of chronicles. A tribute to Maurice is contained in this latest chronicle. He with Dorothy, have captured, with words and pictures, many of the Tasman Peninsula’s important historic times, including stories of the orchard industry.
